Industrial laser cleaning, right at your own site

We remove rust, corrosion, coatings and contamination. Without blasting, without chemicals, without needless dismantling.

The laser takes the layer, not the steel.

Rust, oxide and coating vaporise at the right setting. The metal underneath stays untouched.

1 to 15 m² per hour, depending on the layer

No dismantling. No transport. Less downtime.

We come to your hall, your ship or your building site. The machine stays where it is.

02 · The problem

Why dismantle what can stay where it is?

Unbolt a part, put it on a truck, have it blasted, drive it back and fit it again. The cleaning takes a day. The rest takes a week. That week is your downtime, and it is the expensive part.

  • Less dismantlingWe work on the part exactly as it stands, with the zone around it screened off.
  • Less transportNo truck, no crane, no waiting for a slot at an outside blasting cabin.
  • Less downtimeThe line only stops in the zone where we work, and usually for less than a day.
03 · Comparison

Traditional blasting next to laser cleaning.

Traditional blasting

  • Dismantling required
  • Transport to the blasting cabin
  • Abrasive and screening
  • Disposal and processing of the grit
  • Dust in the surroundings
  • Longer downtime

Laser cleaning

  • Cleaning in place
  • Minimal dismantling
  • No abrasive
  • Extraction at the source
  • Targeted, adjustable removal
  • Less secondary waste

Laser cleaning is not the best choice for everything. Large, rough surfaces in the open air are often still faster with blasting. We say so when that is the case.

04 · The test

Do the test here. Then we do it at your place.

Press and hold, and move across the plate. That is how it works in reality: the layer goes, the metal stays. Not sure about your material? Send a photo or a sample. We test the application and show you the result.

09 · Safety

Working in your hall, by your rules.

Risk assessment up front

For every job we set the laser zone, the screening and the measures, together with your contact person.

Screened laser zone

Barriers, marking and access control while we work. Outside the zone nothing changes about your process.

Extraction at the source

The fumes are extracted and filtered at the work point, so no cloud drifts through your hall.

Personal protection

Laser safety glasses and protective clothing for the operator and for everyone inside the zone.

Do you work with old layers that may contain chromium-6? Mention it with your request and we will match the measures and the disposal to it.

10 · Frequently asked questions

What customers ask first.

Is laser cleaning not more expensive than blasting?

The hourly rate is higher. The project cost often is not, because there is no dismantling, no transport, no abrasive, no screening and no grit to dispose of. Count the downtime as well and the picture changes again.

How fast is it?

In practice 1 to 15 m² per hour. The difference is in the layer: thin rust goes fast, several thick coating layers go slowly. After your photo and the test we give a realistic estimate, not a fantasy number.

Does the laser damage my material?

At the right setting the layer comes off and the metal underneath stays untouched. That is why we test on your own material first and only then carry on.

Which materials can you clean?

Steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass and cast iron. Stone and concrete in consultation. Plastic is not a good candidate, and we would rather say so up front than afterwards.

Can everything be done on site?

Much of it, as long as we can reach the surface and the zone can be screened off. Confined spaces, working at height and explosion hazard zones are discussed up front.

Does my production have to stop?

Usually only the zone we work in. We are happy to plan inside your maintenance window or in a quiet slot.

What do you need to get started?

A photo of the problem, the material if you know it, and the location. Nothing more.
